30DC Preseason Lesson 14: Downloading Files From 30DC

By Dee-Dee M | July 12, 2009

box-downloadAll of the Thirty Day Challenge Content is available to view online, however you may want to download it to your computer to be able to review it offline.

The lessons provided by the 30 Day Challenge team is invaluable so if you have the disk space I highly recommend downloading it. Even if you don’t have the space it is simple enough to transfer it to a CD, DVD, thumb drive, or some other removable storage device.

This year we are spoiled for choice and this brief lesson from Caro shows us how we can get our own copy of the 30 Day Challenge lessons.

Downloading Files:  How To Save The Content – 3:32min video

Whether you go to the www.thirtydaychallenge.com website directly or use the 30DC Facebook application, on the lesson pages you will find a number of options to download the lesson content.

30dcdownloadHD = High Definition Video (great for full screen video)

SD = Standard Definition Video (suitable for Apple TV & iTunes)

IP = iPhone Definition Video (suitable for portable devices)

Right Click on one of these icons to download the copy you require to your computer.

TIP: Create a folder in your documents folder called 30DC 2009

Another way to save a copy of each of the lessons is to subscribe to the Thirty Day Challenge podcast using iTunes. You will need to download iTunes first (see preseason lesson 6)

Left click on the button of the format you wish to recieve

iPhone Ready = iPhone definition for iPhone and portable devices

Apple TV Ready = Best format for viewing in iTunes

Downloading into iTunes is the no fuss-no muss way to get the lessons as iTunes will check for a new lesson automatically each time you open the iTunes program.

Of course if you don’t wish to download you can watch the lessons online on the 30 Day Challenge site, through the 30DC Facebook application or directly on YouTube (click on the blue anchor text link).
