Niche Products

It is important for you to understand that the 30 Day Challenge is NOT about Affiliate Marketing.

Ed explains in Day One of the Training that the 30 Day Challenge takes us through a “Magnificent Symphony of 4 Parts….”

By now you would have completed Phase One and done your Market Research, found your two Niche Markets with their corresponding umbrella keyword phrase(s) and started writing 2-3 quality articles a day for each of them.

Now we are going to test these markets for responsiveness…

Enter the Magic of Web 2.0 and Affiliate Products

The next two phases, Traffic and Conversion work in sync with each other.

By creating a blog with quality content, (articles, images, diagrams, video, audio, etc) and using the Web 2.0 tools you have been taught, you now direct traffic to your new blog site and offer niche market appropriate affiliate products.

Game over? Hardly!

The 30 Day Challenge is NOT about Affiliate Marketing!

The Affiliate Products you choose to offer are there to test the market’s responsiveness and the quality of your content.

It’s pure simplicity…

The quality of your content and the right affiliate product draws your visitor in to take the next step… BUY FROM YOU!

Thus you have achieved “Conversion” and proved that your Niche Market is willing to pay.

You can further test your market by offering differing products and thereby assess what your market really wants by how they vote with their wallets.

If one type of product sells, you have identified what they want. If another type of product doesn’t sell, you have identified what they don’t want.

So Affiliate Marketing when used in this manner becomes a “tool” and not the “goal”.

The Goal is to create your own product to sell to your market (the fourth phase); and isn’t that easier to do when you already know what they want?

Niche Appropriate Products

It’s important that the products you offer your niche is appropriate to that niche.

There is little or no value in trying to sell a sausage making machine to someone looking for sausage making tips (to use Ed’s example).

Think about what your target market wants and give it to them; that’s what drew them to your site in the first place, with your carefully targeted keyword phrase.

If your site is about sausage making tips, give them sausage making tips. That’s what they are there for, and you want your visitors’ experience to be a satisfying one.

Ed explains the why of this principle in the Day 15 Training video and Mike Mindel summarizes it on his blog. Take special note of the material under the heading “Old vs New Marketing”

THE AFFILIATE PROGRAMS

Below is a list of Affiliate Programs you can join and find appropriate products to offer to your niche traffic.
